I’m Still Me
‘I’m Still Me’ is a collaborative project at the University of Leeds. It shares the stories of people with visible facial differences following the treatment of tumours or cancers in the head and neck region. We were commissioned to create a short documentary to be hosted on the projects website, and to be played at the public exhibition. Our aim was to tell the story of all the people involved in the projects, relaying a key theme of collaboration through research.
We worked with agency Coolbox who shot the footage for us over 3 shoot days. I was responsible for art directing on the day of the shoot, conducting interviews with the contributors and ensuring the shoots ran to schedule. Following this I conducted the post production, working alongside my team to lease with the client, to ensure the video encompassed all aspects of the project.
‘I’m Still Me’ is nominated for a Prolific North award in the ‘Documentary/Branded Content’ category.
